Mountain Bike trips are led by Niall Murray our qualified and highly experienced guide. We specialise in guided Edinburgh BIke Trips along the historic and beautiful river side trails and the Pentland Hills. Our trips are a fun and healthy way to experience Edinburgh and the views across the City and the Lothian's. Niall is pictured above outside our Edinburgh West End depot, just about to take two ladies on a scenic bike ride on the water of Leith. He is also the guy in the other picture doing some expert free-ride biking through some tight single track. Trips can be tailor made to suit all abilities and we welcome those who prefer a leisurely ride and want to stop and check out the scenery along the way. Niall is a qualified bike guide with many years experience. His enthusiasm and passion for the outdoors, biking and snowboarding is infectious and you are guaranteed to have a great day out. Our local trips depart from and return to our Edinburgh West End Studio. For guiding in GlenTress or the Pentland Hills, Niall can meet you there. Under 18's have to be accompanied by a adult gardian, family member or parent. Twenty four hours pre booking notice is required for all trips and trips are subject to availability. Guide Cost: £40 per hour for a group size from 1 to 6 people max; the hours listed below beside the trip options are the fixed hours that you will be charged to hire the guide for that particular ride. The actual ride time may be slightly less to allow travel time. City of Edinburgh Guided Bike Trips – Following mainly the off-road & historic city river pathways Leith via river route and return on the old railway network: (2 hours) Kate's Mill Collington - on the Leith river and return to Edinburgh via the historic Union Canal: (2 hours) Pentland Hills - Overlooking Edinburgh (3 hours) Glentress - World Class Mountain Bike Area with Trails to suit all levels (5 hour) Our Trips are available Monday to Saturday and Sunday by special arrangement. |
